We believe it’s possible to get high without wrecking the planet.

If there is one thing we can all agree on it’s that the world doesn't need more single-use plastic.

We've all witnessed the massive surge in our industry; jars and bags are produced in astonishing volumes, all of which are going into landfills and the ocean. With the help of modern science, there are now cleaner alternatives.

We're dedicated to reducing single-use plastics at the scale of our own products by sourcing materials with a dedicated end-of-life stream. It's one step toward a greater mission to increase the circulation and supply chain of plant-based materials in our industry.

What’s in the bag?

Our primary packaging materials are made of plant-based laminates with a paper finish. They are compostable and made from a blend of materials derived from eucalyptus and cassava root. They are the perfect home for our organically-grown, lovingly-tended flower, featuring a high barrier to oxygen and moisture.

What is compostable packaging?

By definition, composting refers to the organic process of biodegradation of a material or product. It’s nature’s form of recycling. Our packaging is completely compostable (or biodegradable) in both home and industrial compost, and does not break down into micro-plastics.

It’s not perfect, but it’s a start.

We acknowledge the difficulty in completely removing plastics. Being zero waste is costly and complex. We believe in thinking about the big picture but taking immediate little steps right now.
