Our Store

  • Arizona law requires that recreational customers must be over the age of 21. Medical customers who have a valid, Arizona-issued medical marijuana card must be over the age of 18.

  • We can only allow age-verified customers to shop in-store with us. However, if you have your child with you, you can place an online order and take advantage of our exterior walk-up pickup window!

  • We have onsite parking directly in front of the dispensary. For customers utilizing our exterior walk-up pickup window, there are two lateral parking spots on the north side of building dedicated to your use. In the event our parking lot is full, we offer overflow parking in the gravel lot across the street from Botanica, on the southeast corner of Joiner and Travel Center.

  • All customers must present a valid government-issued ID (like a driver’s license or passport) to enter the dispensary. All IDs must have valid expiration dates.

If you are a medical marijuana customer, you must present your valid, Arizona state-issued medical marijuana card as well as your government-issued ID.

Your ID will be verified prior to entering the dispensary, and per state law, must be presented during each visit.

  • State law allows you to purchase up to one ounce of cannabis each day, of which no more than five grams can be extracts, concentrates, or cartridges.

  • We’re open daily from 9am until 9pm. We’re closed on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

  • We accept cash and debit payments. All debit transactions will incur a $4 service fee. At this time, credit card payments are not supported.

  • Occasionally! We’re launching our members-only club soon. Make sure to sign up for the Botany Club to be the first to know about upcoming deals or discounts.

Cannabis 101

  • You probably hear these abbreviations all the time, and for good reason! THC and CBD are two of the most active compounds (called cannabinoids) in cannabis. THC (or tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive part of the plant and what makes you feel “high.” THC can cause energizing or restful effects, and everything in between! CBD (or cannabinol) offers relaxation without any psychoactive effects.

Our menu lists all THC and CBD percentages present in each product we sell.

  • Cannabis types have been traditionally defined by two primary species of plants: indica and sativa. You may have heard these terms before, and associated them with specific effects, be it an “energizing sativa” or a “relaxing indica.” Today most cannabis strains are a hybrid species, and while many brands still classify products based on indica, sativa, or hybrid, this is simply a reflection of the plant’s specific botanical lineage.

  • Rather than the strain classification, it’s actually the chemical compounds present in each strain that determine the effects you’ll experience. In other words, the cannabinoids and terpenes present in the plant. At Botanica, we place a special emphasis on exploring the terpenes that exist in each of the strains we sell.

Everyone will experience cannabis differently, and your genetics, frequency of usage, method of consumptions, and mood can all impact your unique effects.

  • Terpenes are chemical compounds present in plants and are responsible for the range of aromas and tastes present in cannabis (plus lots of other things, like wine and beer!). Individual terpenes contribute unique flavors to cannabis and play a huge role in the specific effects of cannabis on the human body.

  • We sure do! If you’re brand new to using cannabis, a medical marijuana patient looking for a logbook, or simply curious to dig deeper, you can find our education guide here!

How to Shop

You can shop in-store or online. Here’s the breakdown:

In-store shoppers can visit the dispensary anytime during regular business hours. Once inside the store, there are three ways to peruse and purchase the goods:

  1. Browse and flag down a consultant when you’re ready to place an order. They’ll take care of the rest.

  2. Know what you want and enjoy self-service? Use our QR code technology to place your own order and avoid potential service delays.

  3. Schedule a one-on-one shopping appointment for dedicated service.

If convenience is more your style, you can easily place orders online. You’ll receive a text and email notification when your order is ready for pick up. Once you arrive at Botanica, you can take advantage of our dedicated online pickup cashier lines, or utilize our exterior walk-up pickup window for the ultimate in speed and convenience.

  • All orders must be placed in-store or online. We are unable to accept phone orders or phone holds.

  • If you pre-ordered online for pickup, your order will typically be available for in-store pickup within minutes. You’ll receive a text and email notification letting you know that your order is complete. Please ensure that you have received a notification about order completion before coming into Botanica to pickup your goods.

When you arrive at Botanica, you can utilize our dedicated cashier lines inside or take advantage of the walk-up pickup window on the north exterior side of the building.

  • In most cases, this means that your order is not yet ready. Good things take time, so be patient! If you’ve been waiting more than an hour, however, give us a call and we’ll be more than happy to get to the bottom of it and get you on your way.

  • All orders must be picked up by close of business on the day the order was placed. We close daily at 9pm, so you have plenty of time!
